The bundle contains the track 'Emotional Yoyo' from their critically acclaimed album, Moonshout, as well as a remix of Moonshout’s ‘Dancehall Operator’ from the legendary DJ Tayo; one the UK best-known and respected breaks and dubstep DJs. which was not featured on the album. In addition, there is a live video of 'Emotional Yoyo', taken from the live DVD of the band released this year, which perfectly encapsulates the raw energy of the TGU live experience. In additiona and some exclusive, never before released live images of the band, formatted for computer desktop use.

Following that, expect the online and vinyl release of 'Dancehall Operator' with another exclusive mix in January. So if you want to get one of the mixes free, nows the time!....

CURRENT TGU ALBUM: 'Moonshout,' TGUs 7th 'official' release, helped get us a BBC Radio 3 Award for World Music, and very pretty it is too (the award, not the album, which is only pretty in places...) You can buy it here at the TGU Shop along with other albums on Mule Satellite, our own label, notably TGUs album before 'Moonshout' 'Impossible Broadcasting,' and a whole bunch of rare early CD singles from the Nation Records days.

LIVE DVD!: In August last year we played the very wonderful Les Escales festival in Saint Nazaire, Brittany. The show was filmed by Guillaume Dero and the LaHuit production team from France, who mixed it with some interviews and extra footage to make a 50 minute documentary with plenty of the live show still there. The DVD is available in France, but we have some copies too, and they’re available in the shop section here.

After nearly 2 years on the road promoting ‘Moonshout’ we’re taking a short break….but will be back onstage soon, starting with an exclusive show at the legendary Bardens Boudoir in equally legendary Dalston with the notoriously legendary Vagabond Boogaloo Club.
