Kadim Al Sahar: Baghdad (Kathora
al Hadeeth)
Possibly the biggest star to ever come out of Iraq, this remix of his tribute
to his home city appeared on the compilation album ‘Rock the Casbah: Songs
of Freedom from the Streets of the East.’ EMI
Natacha Atlas: Leysh Nat’Arak
TGU remix their own production of Natacha’s second single from her first
solo album. Appeared on the compilation “The Best of Natacha Atlas”

Oojami: Ali
From the album 'Urban Dervish,' second album by the London band that grew out

Zion Train: Zion High (Zion Hai Hai mix)
After Perch from Zion Train helped out on 'Impossible Broadcasting' TGU repaid

Al Yaman: Gusun al-Gawa
Froma the album `Hurriya,' the debut release by the excellent Czech-Yemeni fusion

Banco de Gaia: Amber
From the album called '10 Years Remixed' which as the name suggests is a remix
album of the compilation '10 years of Banco de Gaia.' TGU appear alongside lots
of old friends including Zion Train, Dreadzone, Temple of Sound, ADF etc. Its

Recycler: ‘Sensi and Foxy’ Came out on a 12” promo only…we wait and see if it comes out anywhere else!
Maharajah: Maro Jailo
Maharajah were previously called Musaffir, who worked with TGU on the album
‘Rejoice Rejoice.’ Available on the German compilation KARMACULTURE

Hakim Remix: Slam FS298: A
whole album of remixes by TGU of Egyptian vocalist Hakim. Hakim mixes modern
Egyptian pop with Shaabi, a more earthy, bluesy style, and is one of the country's
top performers. Available in a cassette stall near you! (if you live in Cairo).
